FWA customers expect a seamless experience comparable to fixed broadband services. However, delivering data services over mobile networks presents unique challenges. Core networks are increasingly virtualized and dynamic, transport networks share capacity with various services and traffic
types, and the radio network introduces new challenges like coverage, interference, and congestion. While CSPs have grown accustomed to monitoring mobile broadband services, encompassing network accessibility and reliability, traffic, usage, and subscriber Quality of Experience (QoE), they must now adapt to higher volumes, faster speeds, and more dynamic network infrastructures. It’s also critical to control that, as new FWA subscribers are added, the other mobile services keep being delivered with high quality, ensuring that the balance between capacity assigned to FWA and other services is working as planned.
